This makes me more proud than every song I've ever written combined. These two boys are amazing. Big brother said he was going to teach his little brother how to play guitar so they could be in a band together.

Now of course you have to take control of your destiny and turn them into the Shuggs: A doom band that plays Shaggs covers.

Cool conky, congrats on the new doom spawn. I have a video saved of our toddler going back and forth between strumming my guitar on a stand and twiddling knobs on pedals.
(((((((((((((TODDLERDRONE)))))))))))))
That's all him too, I really don't go out of my way to try to get him interested in my gear, I have to lock the door to my office at home or he'll sneak in and play with stuff.

Go conky!
My kids think they're Sith Lords.
That's as doom as I could get them.
Not sure if parenting fail or win.

i had a break through on the weekend. I asked my kid what he wanted to listen to in the car, and he said "Red Fang". He really likes wires and everytime its on he kind of headbangs to the opening riff...i call that a win...

I'd take that.
My wife has random slayer tracks pop up in her shitty chart pop playlist when we're driving.
My daughter always says "it's too loud", but I'm thinking our passive immersion tactic will wear her down.
She likes more rocky stuff like clutch and Windhand which is good.
She loves dancing to Elder as well.
In ten years she'll be wearing some Slayer or Deicide shirt she used my credit card to overpay for on eBay and I'll be like, "rad shirt. Is that my old one?" and she will eat fucking crow.
Then probably lose her shit, burn it and go buy a Satyricon shirt or some shit.
Then my brother will be like, "nice shirt. Is that my old one?"
Repeat cycle until she realises her olds were actually cool.

not to mention all the other teeny-boppers buying old metal shirts that have been aged from shops like H&M or General Pants.
i remember a few years ago Urban Outfitters had Metallica and Iron Maiden t-shirts which were aged and ripped a little...annoyed the absolute fuck out of me!
BTW...I still think I have my Deicide Legion t-shirt...its way too small, I think i was 15 when i bought it...fuck I'm old

Sam, don't feel old.
We were teenagers when that shit was the most brutal thing ever.
So, claim a win for being a veteran and earning your stripes?
Fuck it.
Who cares what anyone under 25 thinks anyway?
