can't say i use it as frequently as the normal mode, but it is really fun when i'm doing noise stuff and i'm trying to generate new sounds as i go without playing anything. the real time randomization in mode 2 is really fun too.

Honestly i wish it was always in transcendence mode. I'll get a sweet loop going in mode 2 and I can bump it over to mode 3. Also, there's no cv control in mode 1 for the length with transcendence off

Will add the Effectrode compressor for acoustic. Now I only need a good'un

I'l on a harmonic percolator kick lately...Can't make sense of those different Frederic effects clones though. So is the Perky Harlot just an older version version of the Utility Percolator?
Edit: Nevermind, turns out the answer is on HP thread I started myself not too long go
Don't suppose you ever heard the difference in person and care to eleborate on your choice?

I think Perky Harlot is just his alternative name for the Percolator. It could be a Utility Percolator or his more vintage correct models.

The Fredric Effects reproductions are well worth the money. I've owned the Perky Harlot (vintage spec with slight mods), now have the Utility Perkolator (slightly modernized version with 3 clipping modes and noise reduction), and both are well-built and bring the trademark crusty HP stank in spades.

I'll have to give that a try.

The Utility Perkolator is something else.
This blue one is the vintage v1 with alt name & diode lift, and a few extra components more than my Chuck Collins. Idk their purpose.
It doesn't get quite as fuzzy as the CC but has more overall output, even with clipping diodes in the circuit.

What are these switches on the ditto?
I have seen similar ones on some other boards and was wondering whether they are actually different switches or some cap stuck on the original one ?
Asking that because I find the switches on my flashback and tuner a bit hard to press sometimes .. my ditto ones seem ok though, for now ...
