Yeah, that No Memory...want...
This course, a perpetual alternation of determining what is true, and then setting aside this determining, constitutes, strictly speaking, the steady everyday life and activity of perpetual consciousness, a consciousness which fancies itself to be moving in the realm of truth.

Even Anguish and Context are new in. Re-zip tied everything down so I actually stick with this setup.

Been a while, though I think this was prob the same as last time. Nothing too crazy or fancy, but I get by :hobbes:

Going to change things up this week. Thinking about slimming that down to maybe 7 pedals. Also thinking about making several project specific boards.

Edit: my cable to my amp is apparently taking the day off

baremountain wrote:Thanks :) I was rehearsing for my set and I stumbled upon an incredible sound using the Dream Reaper, No Memory, Pretty Years, and Spectre in the settings shown (except the Spectre; that's running from a preset) and I wanna use that sound to open my set so I'm like super reluctant to change any of the dials because I *know* I'll never get this sound back haha
The No Memory is right on the brink of oscillation, but the internal modulation circuit makes it so that it swells up to a loud volume then slowly drags itself down in pitch. Instant boner. The Pretty Years takes the incoming wall of noise and adds tons of watery/scratchy texture and really brings out the mid frequencies. I typically don't care for presets on pedals but damn I wish I had them right now.
I usually draw a picture of my pedal settings. But taking a picture works too. Infact, you already did.

:thumb: though I totally used an old picture...that misty cave is gone and now has my dd3 in its place.
Oh and I should note the signal path:
Vol pedal>fuzz bear>oc2>heisenberg>korg chorus set up for vibrato>dd3>disaster transport>venomous snake>ph2>plus ultra>frazz dazzler>dls>pitch fork>hazarai>timefactor>amp
I have an expression pedal next to the vol that I swap around between the plus ultra and pitch fork.

Thanks! I like it a lot, tbh. Anything in particular you are curious about? Manually sweeping the filter is fun for movement while playing various things, though switching between the two can be pretty drastic in certain settings. It's nice on it's own or stacked (either boosted by the heisenberg, which tightens things up, or ramming the frazz which does that overloaded blown out thing  )

1: That picture was prob takin right after I built the board
2: I don't play shows
3: And yes, pretty much. I clean my boards/pedals/guitars periodically :idk:

But it's good for a potential future owner of my gear. I do my best to clean/make things look brand new when I sell them (or buy them for that matter)...I'm kind of a germaphobe.
