I fell down a youtube hole of Acid Bath stuff, old low quality live videos, etc., and for the first time in decades actually heard something new about Audie Pitre's gear besides his custom painted Ibanez bass and "he used an HM-2". Apparently he used a Digitech rackmount multi-fx for the chorus on Scream of the Butterfly. According to Sammy it was nothing special, you could use any digital chorus and it would sound like that. Nothing that significant, but it was just notable because I was looking up what bass gear he used since the early 2000s

Nice to see some activity around here!
I've recently dipped my toe into the world of MIDI. My rig isn't all that complex, just a single amp full stack with pedals out front. But I have gotten a big fancy delay and a big fancy reverb and it became apparent that a midi controller was the only way I was really going to make good use of them. I really can't deal with super complex tap dancing and I really want to be able to use a chunk of presets on each in various combinations. I got a Morningstar mc6 mkii and am really impressed with it. It's small and unassuming and kinda just looks like another pedal on the board. And, I'm kinda techno-stupid, but even for me this thing is insanely easy to set up and program to do an incredible amount of stuff. I love it. And I could definitely see getting a midi loop switcher to control the non-mid pedals.
Love those rig pics. I wouldn't try doing anything that complex for myself at this point, but I love to see it. That's a lot of cool gear.

I can't sign in to my imgur account to post rig pics but you can see some of it in this instagram post. I've got a rack drawer with all of my pedals (PS3, SD1,Witchburner, Pharoah, Fortin Zuul mini, Timefactor, Ghost Echo) that are controlled by a RJM Effects Gizmo and Rocktron All Access. My looper pedal is on the board, too as well as a Jerry Cantrell wah and tuner. I've been digging the Pharoah into the dirty channel of the SLO lately.
