For real, rad fuckin board. What do you think of the ps-3 compared to something like the whammy or pitchfork? If I just wanna do static shifting, mostly octave or fifth up

I personally I like the sound of the ps-3 more than the aforementioned. I haven't tested it with expression pedal yet but I suspect that'll be sweet. It can run the range of the gamut if you want to set it and forget it, you just have to find the sweet spot.

Board completely redone for the first time in like 6 months. Pulled everything off of it, ripped all the velcro off the board, then reapplied industrial strength velcro. It's so much better. It's not as snazzy looking, but it's fucking close. I'm still planning a midi controller, but am thinking of putting it on a mini daughter board off to the side along with my expression pedals. I thought about going bypass and midi, but honestly, I don't know if I want to. It would be nice to switch on several things at once though. So it's still up in the air.

Why a board and not the floor? It's just easier to play this way. I know I play at home, but I like to use a lot of effects sometimes, and sometimes, I like to use one. It's so much easier to do it this way versus pulling things and putting them together. That's just me though.

The ONLY thing is that some effects seem to over power others, so I need to figure out volume compensations again. I hate that. First world problems.

when do your start your custom build?

Those Toneczar should be etched.

I would not want to disassemble one of Ed's pedals for etching. The amount of wires in them is staggering.

If I were an extremely wealthy man, I'd do it. As it is though, the only thing that would serve to do is piss Ed off to the point of never selling me a pedal and destroying the value of them. Excane and I actually tried to get him to do a run with us, but he just didn't have a need for it.

This is true! Plus it voids your warranty. I'm actually scared to open his stuff. haha

I poked around in every Toneczar pedal I ever owned. They're lovely pieces of design and engineering and totally worth the cash. The waits are silly though and I liked the pedals but ended up selling them off to get other stuff. I wouldn't mind having a Dove again.

Cleaning up the home studio and put together 3 new pedalboards. Still have to wire up the big one because I need to sit on it due to the parallel routing and tons of cv and expression control
