Oh that! Funny story, I bought it cause I thought it was a door mat and I wanted that at the doorway of my studio.

Turns out it was actually a shower mat. Whoops.

2018 has started with me getting a bit carried away ;)

Not satisfied with a new CT5 and an Afterneath, I've got a Grazer on the way and a TAFM being held until I can get to the bank to put some cash in, so it's lucky I had already bought the third music stand ;)

I'm going to keep the left hand stand as it is for now, and most likely move one or two from the right to the middle - but who knows ? I might need one of those Patchulators soon so I can try out some different combinations :)

This board has me fucked up because of how simple it is and how much I want to go this route. Do you ever wish you had more weird stuff on your board?

i have been considering this route too. the boss dd500 might have to be my delay to end delays for recording purposes. when i logically think it through, it is the route that makes the most sense for the money over options. for reverb, the only other thing i want is an rm1n. and since nobody is seeming to want to make a looper that i want, i will most likely be going with something smaller anyways like this too.

Fun-looking command center you've got there, I esp dig how you've divided the upper and lower rows of pedals on the music stands.
Do you have anything [a piece of foam or strip of electrical tape] separating the bottom row from the lip of the music stand? If not, I'd recommend experimenting with something like that, assuming the pedals are already on feet. In previous setups of mine, having a number of pedals coupled to a conductive board [wireshelving] has created issues w/r/t signal:noise. Added some corkboard and was shocked how it helped lower my noise floor. YMMV

Yes, there's foam at the bottom so they don't get scratched :)

Anything without feet gets them added so they don't move about too much (and again, don't get scratched).

So wicked cool. Do you use this setup live? I feel like this would look cool as hell on stage. How do you go about performing with this setup? Do you turn one one whenever you need an effect or do you turn a bunch on and fade them in with volume pedals? Also curious to hear what this sounds like if you have any music out anywhere.

I hope it isn't too disappointing, but no, I don't play live at the moment. I've been acquiring all the pedals more to amuse myself than to entertain a crowd.

My current approach is to muck about with different groups of pedals, sometimes one or two, sometimes lots, and whenever I come up with something interesting I record it on a Tascam DR-07 that sits on top of the amp.

Then I copy it onto my PC and into Audacity. Some recordings I've just chopped off the noise at the start and end, but the most recent got a bit more complicated (though not too much, I don't want to try too hard) as I recorded an online rainstorm generator plus an online drum machine (which didn't loop properly - I liked the unbalanced feel of it so I left it like that ;) ) plus some chopped up bits of a recording that originally ran to nearly 30 mins.

There are people out there doing this sort of thing that are almost certainly better at it than me, but nevertheless I'm enjoying doing it, and it's a good excuse for buying more pedals :)

here's the most recent bit of fun:

Can confirm that it was!
Got the RV-3 yesterday and the Longsword last week. Really like the RV-3. Actually thinking about kicking the RM-1n and Tåken off the board and just use the RV-3 for my reverb/delay needs.

Sick board

The RV-3 is the shit. Having little or no control over the seperate delay/reverb parameters is a pain though :/
