What it do?
It's name is Tape Eko and it models tape delay, per the box.
 It has three modes: solid state tape echo, tube tape echo and a reverse mode. Overall very pleasing. Instant reverse mode is not possible on a real tape echo unit, am I right? Anyway, this mode is fun. A very nice thing is that the self-oscillation does not a bit bleed through if you set the MIX knob to 100% dry. As always it is a bit limited with three knobs only, but with that small footprint and the normal retail price (my model is a used unit) it's a lot of bang for the bucks and space. I'm happy. :)*

Sound good. :thumb:
Well I've been talking to One Pot for a little bit and he is trying to get the size down to a minimum and is trying to see if he can fit the deluxe version in a smaller shell, the 3 band eq seems so dope but I can't do the giant shell. It sounds great, just wish I knew how it would sound in a band mix though thats for sure. I have had many fuzzes fail me in that sense. Thats why the deluxe and that mids knob would be awesome but the regular version is an a 1590bb and that one looks double the size haha

I think my Messican heritage is calling me to buy that crap but I need to sell stuff to make it worth it BUY MAH CRAP
I was tempted to buy one of those, but at $250 it was more expensive than I was willing to go for a sound I don't find myself generally going after.

Tempting though.

Dude really needs a store outside of instagram.

Yeah it's like 200 hundred for the regular version but he said free shipping in Mexico, and Im going to visit my dad in a couple months. Although sometimes I dont really like "fuzz" sounds compared to my HM-2 or Rat which have more grind than what most fuzzes offer. If he makes one with a mids knob then I might be more willing to, otherwise I might have to pass. Although now that I've been talking to him I feel strange backing out on buying anything haha. Maybe that's the trick to having to direct contact for purchasing/inquiries haha

was starting up a little run of demos playing guitar through pedals that accept CV from different sources. After that last demo showing that cool glitch from using an EV-5 with the Judder here is a look at using a Koma Kommander with it. There are little adjustment screws on the back of the Kommander for attenuating the strength of the CV or threshold of the Gate signals..so through out I make little adjustments using a tiny screwdriver. That really helps you dial in how close your hand or foot or whatever needs to be to the unit to start getting effect. I've got some of the Koma Attenuator inline cables which basically do the same thing but couldn't find them..so a screwdriver it is. Just using some generic 3.5mm to 1.4" cable from the Kommander to the Judder.

so worth it though. my amp game has been dailed in for a long while now, it's time to blow my gear money on all the best pedals now.

Using a couple euro modules I was able to hook both of the CV outs from the Kommander into the Judder :joy: I patched the two CV signals into a voltage controlled crossfader, then used an envelope from my playing to fade between the two. Used the 0-3V output on an ALM s.b.g pedal interface to be safe, but the 0-5V output worked fine too. Recorded two little demos, I used those trimmers on the Kommander to set the two CV strengths different from one another...used different settings for each demo. used an electric guitar this goround :animal:

I've been settling with a Twin Reverb for the last few years now.
Hopefully I'll manage to build a few pedals in the future and maybe get a Weber kit or two.

yeah i'm itching to start building. i almost bought one of those god city business card pcs and the kit for it. but i feel like tackling something more complex and with less step by step type instructions.

I just ordered the parts to build a basic PT2399 delay and I'm gonna breadboard it and play with mods. Bending these Danelectro pedals has been a real nightmare for me. Using subpar techniques (learned a few useful tricks today) with the tiny SMDs left me pretty discouraged. This way I can build it from the ground up and really throw in some weird options.
I also just started designing a CV amplifier to boost the 5V from my 8-step to 12V for my Dwarfcraft pedals. SpruceMoose has been hooking me up with some very useful consultation & I sincerely owe him a big one. It's no coincidence that this box is making his EVA CV generator seem way more appealing

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!
