A PLL has an phase detector that takes your signal and compares the phase of your signal to the oscillator(s) and adjusts the oscillator(s) accordingly. At least, that's how I thought it worked.

P much. A square wave follows your signal and tries its hardest to stick to it. When it sucks at tracking it gets wild. It's extra fun paired with a frequency divider.
Also you guys forgot the new Mtl.Asm Purpll for PLLs.

Yeah if I'm not mistaken PLLs are the way you do tracking in the analog world. Are there digital PLLs? Also I'm glad you broke down and got it, worra!!!

More PLL:
Parasit guitar synth
Sunshine Harmonic Decoder
Infanem Harmony Synth
Pretty sure on these three:
LAL Tone Mosaique
Recovery motormatic
Holowon Thermal Wave
Probably Pigtrronix Mothership
Possibly Seppuku Chopper....But never seen/heard one
They output a squarewave based on the phase of an incoming signal.

I need something to gas for I want a fuzz thats super tonally different from other distortions. I finished putting my board together, but I feel as though having a rat and my HM-2 sounds sort of redundant, and I have a fuzzrocious muff off my board but I think it crosses similar ground, and I dont really like it all that much to be honest compared to my hm-2. Anything worth trying out at a shop, maybe something different. Bonus if its the size of a big box rat or comes in black haha.
That new shigeharu fuzz from carolina effects or whatever seems decent sounding with an octave up momentary switch. or maybe should say fuck getting a new dirt and only have my hm-2 for dirt and put some other wacky pedal there.

You too huh?
Price on perfect circuit was too good to pass up.

I mentioned this but got cold feet and edited it away.

Go octave fuzz. About as far as you can go from the HM-2.

Its funny you say that because Im looking at a shiva fuzz right now. I like the older enclosure better, as the new one is much too small

The she fuzz/Shiva is awesome and will complement what you have pretty well I think.
