Woo just ordered a new soldering iron so I can fucking finally get back to DIY and do some of the projects I've been intending for literally years.
Also incoming: Xaoc Sewastopol. Can't wait to integrate modular with other things!

Resin's post made me research resonator guitars and now I REALLY want one, it's that halfway point between a guitar and a banjo I want. GAS INTENSIFIES.

I recently got a friend in Nashville to pick me up a resonator w a pickup that I saw for sale there. I should be getting it when he comes to visit in May. Much excite.
I would always borrow my old roommate's resonator, and I don't have an acoustic guitar that I really like, so hopefully this'll fill that void.
Also damn res, that looks real nice.

Dean guitars are always surprisingly good. I have tried a few different models in the last year in the shop I work in. Their basses and guitars are ace. That's why I bought a Vendetta 1.0 for myself. Rather cheap, but good sounding, solidly built and absolutely reliable.
