I’m biased - the only ring mod I haven’t liked is the Outer Rings. But the RR is great. REALLY great. I like it more than the Moogerfooger (like slightly more - like 1% more) but space wise it kills.
100% agreed. Wish I could put my hands on a Randy's again, I loved it but sold for fundraising, and everytime somebody talks about it here the GAS ignites heavily.
Ps don't know why but I was expecting a Gonkulator on your board.

I always used the MF-102 as a weirdo trem 99% of the time. Can the Randy pull off similar sounds?

Yeah, but you won't have as much control over some of the parameters.

Randy is a VERY nice trem though
I also mostly used it as a trem, then sold it and kept a trem around

This is exactly what I did the first time I owned one, but then I started missing it and wanted a nice ring mod in my life again. Happy to have one again!

That's the very reason I sold my trem: I always use them at the top of their speed, so I'd rather have a ring mod and use it at slow speed the rare times I need a tremolo

It's a fantastic trem and does a good square wave or sine wave.
