Just got in and am going to bed so will post pics later, but I picked up an Ampeg V4, a Sunn 612s and an MPC500 today, all for $1250CAD. Pretty pleased with myself here and don't think I'll ever get a deal this good again (V4 was recently recapped, tubed and serviced) but Jesus christ people weren't lying when they said those things are heavy!

finally copped one of these jazz basses. been wanting one forever. already took off the knobs and swapped the pickguard for a black one. gotta have that this bass will kill you aesthetic, y'know?

Just played my Driving Notion for like 4 hours. Eardrums are sufficiently shredded.

I gotta figure out how to tame it a bit. It might be the AC30 clone I was playing through, but holy shit the DN is HARSH. I'm determined to find a use for it though. No more flips.

Mostly I need a new amp. The one I'm playing through breaks up too early and doesn't get loud enough.
