I should have a sick Sage fretless bass shipping tomorrow if GC doesn't screw me out of it, like they did with the last thing I bought from them online.

I know you've talked a lot about your ehx hate, but man, I still don't get your ehx hate.
The worst part of ehx to me is their QC. Like, how does Behringer have a worse reputation when it comes to quality?
edit: meant QC not QA

haha, well i wouldn't be surprised if it crapped out, sometimes their pedals are hit or miss. sometimes they just start doing weird shit.
but i wouldn't haven't gotten it if i couldn't get the deal i got on it. and if that dmm setting is any good, it's worth it. i got a couple multi-function delay/loopers already.
mike matthews is a sleaze and egotistical so i don't blame behndy for hatin'. there's other reasons too i'm sure.

I recently had QC issues with a Neo Clone (popping switch when it first powers on), Nano Small Stone (noisier in high pass mode), and both the Mel9 and Synth9 (power supply issues that intermittently cause each pedal to fail to properly boot). EHX is still one of my favorite brands in terms of tones and textures, though their QC is decidedly lacking.
I just sold a few things on Reverb and then found one of these for a decent price used:
Either my Boss GL-100 or Rocktron Velocity 300 is starting to intermittently cut out for brief intervals the first few minutes after powering on, so the time has come to have a backup on hand. I'm hoping this will pair well with my craptastic (and allegedly celestion-equipped) Line6 Spider 4x12.

meh. it's more of a joke at this point? i think they're garbage just because everything of their's i've ever owned that was cool had some asinine interface or design choice about it that made it unusable. but i haven't used anything they make for...... more years than i want to think about.
except the SuperEgo. they fucked up and made an AMAZING pedal there.
got to record with Sylvie Massey, who is AMAZING, and like. you listen to what someone with that much experience tells you to try. but she wanted to try to get a little Pig Nose amp to feedback on the board (my amps were in a room farrrrrrrr away for isolation, made it really hard to lean into the speakers) for this riff that i usually fedback into horribleness for, and she grabbed an old beat to shit Big Muff and was wiring it up and..... it was so fucking hard to do..... but i asked her if there was a fuzz from ANY OTHER COMPANY that we could use, i just.... had issues....... with EHX stuff..... and she laughed, told me she totes understood, we wired up a Pickle Pie B from board instead.
PROBLEM?
SOLUTION.

Thanks to hbombgraphics, I'm going to test a new board. Basically, a GT-100 for delay and modulation with as/bs dirt. Right now, I just have a Mini. Eventually, it will be a Mini, a Buzzz, and Fuck Mountain. Maybe a TAFM, later.

Let us know how it is. I've had some Quilter curiosity for awhile.

Yeah, I've been on the fence about one for a while. I'm picking up a cheap GK solid state guitar head today but my Quilter GAS is still strong.
Also I think my 141t gets here today. Gated oscillating nastiness all day!

I think I'm getting a Spectre if I can't find a Bitquest for a decent price

the gas is STRONG right now
