speaking of Swoops, been waiting on sockets to arrive to finish four positive going Swoops and four negative going Anti-Swoop paper circuits. these are touch triggered along with wiring nodes together, Swoop and Anti-Swoop have their own piezo preamp modules too for additional swoop/anti-swoop triggering and I imagine other interesting results. bringing it all together is the the Dogvoice radio heterodyne oscillator/filter..but waiting to finish these simpler swoops before tackling that biggie. I also found some quite similar to Swoop paper circuit named Rando that looks interesting, but i need to up my google-fu to find the paper circuit to print out..or spend the time tracing the circuit path on the back by hand. the hairy caps also have a not too common symbol and not sure what that means...some circuits those are meant to be similar but still choose your own adventure on the value. there are also mystery x resistors and can't find any literature on what range to focus on. hmm.

Well I caved. Have a Hologram Infinite Jets coming in 4-6 weeks. Sigh. I just knew I'd be snagging on eventually. I tried hard to resist too.

Fortunately the music I play doesn't lend itself to their weirdness so I save myself money in the long run.

finished four Swoop paper circuits, along with the piezo Preamp and Anti Preamp. Hope to bust out the four Anti-Swoop's later tonight and then onto the Dogvoice paper circuit so I can finally hear how these sound/perform as intended. of course I already hooked them up to a couple other circuits and they are just wild. the piezo acts as a trigger and also modulates the resulting triangle. gonna take awhile to figure out how to wire these together, their two nodes are both in/outs where when one takes a trigger the other puts out a pulses..also they both put out a triangle after the module is triggered and then both nodes accept modulation....uhhhh,

built that Ciat-Lonbarde Dogvoice paper circuit, created to give voice to the Swoop/Anti-Swoop....guess I have to wait till tuesday for the chip to arrive. its a dual oscillator, or rather radio heterodyne oscillator with a lowpass ladder filter. think this is the first paper circuit with knobs to control multiple parameters..namely pitch, filter, resonance, and volume for both of its oscillators. i really like the component layout on this one.
