Well that turned out good! Fuck man, they are such a BITCH to etch. LOL! It took ten minutes of sitting for me to get anything from one and then it ate part of the transfer. Glad Dan figured it out. I need to pick his brain.elevenstrings wrote:Goodbye, Red.

Huh. It's not a trebly pedal ime especially with the gain up as more gain = treble rolloff. Maybe it's a 24v thing (mine doesn't have the charge pump).mathias wrote:IN:
update: cranking the gain with the gain switch to the right (high gain) sounds really good. Low cut can stay down. My amp needs all the bass help it can get. Wish it also had a "hi cut" to filter off some of the treble. Oh well. Apparently I'm the only person who finds high treble to be like ice picks to my ears.
It's my setup. Squier Jazzmaster + Reeves Custom 12 + closed back Vintage 30 cab. I'm working on replacing the Vintage 30 with a different speaker cab. I suspect it's just the problem of three trebly components working together.MechaGodzilla wrote:

Ordered one. I recently acquired an Unpleasant Surprise based off the knobs recommendation and it is pretty awesome in stereo with the FF7. Your description has me wondering what it would sound like in stereo with the USpopvulture wrote:Ha! Happy to titilatemanymanyhaha wrote:You, sir, have titillated my interests. I got it because I was recording a few weeks ago and needed a nasty, rippy part, so I used the engineer's Fuzz Factory. Sounded pretty cool.
Of course as they're all different, I plug in my FF at home a couple weeks later and it just fucking sucks. Hardest pedal to dial in. I really loathe that thing but somehow keep holding onto it because it's sentimental.
So anyway, ordered the Frazz, as it can cover that territory and more. Holy shit, so happy (albeit just an initial impression). The gated, low voltage sounds are excellent, but the lower gain fuzz also sounds fucking great. Stoked as balls.
Wha? Next thing is you are going to tell me that it is stereo and serves beer nutsRuiner wrote:It's a Reverb prototype that also has delay and fuzzmanymanyhaha wrote:
