Nice. I like fuzz with boxy mids. We had one at a guitar store I worked at over a decade ago but I don't remember what it sounded like. We had an XT-2 too also and I remember being surprised that people didn't like them because I thought they sounded interesting. Weird, but not bad.

PW-2 and XT-2 are two cool BOSS oddities. The Power Driver has one setting* that sounds
very similar to a mid-'70s EHX Big Muff π that a friend of mine has.
*PW-2's FAT knob at 03:00 and MUSCLE knob in minimum position sounds like a vintage Big Muff π with the tone knob at 11:00.

Aforementioned Bondi compressor arrived today. I'm going to have to spend some time getting to know it better, but first impressions indicate that it does what I was hoping it'd do: act like a compressor without the noticeable pump/squash. Of course it can go that direction too if I so choose, but it seems like most compressors do that whole thing just fine. Pretty much all I've previously tried don't excel at subtlety.
So yep, psyched. Finally might've found one I like...

Very cool. I'm not a big fan of Muffs, but usually it's because they're mid-less, so pretty sweet that it has a mid knob. I feel like I'd like to try one with the mids pretty high and the gain down and the level cranked to blow the fuck out of an amp.

Finally caved in and bought a compressor. My Pedalboard is complete, once again. But only a matter of time until I'm dissatisfied again.

On the other hand the PW-2's highs are fixed and that's the one thing that goes on my nerves a bit. It does always sound a bit harsh. But nevertheless an underestimated pedal!

Clarinot I bought from reverb was totally screwed when it arrived :-(. Sent back for refund. Also vtol garmonbozia was supposedly lost on the post but the builder had no receipt or tracking no....... getting refunds for both of those. Luckily I found a garmonbozia for sale on muffs so finally, 7 months later, it is INCOMING YASS

Side-chaining in a pedal...intriguing and intimidating

Prob a nice feature to have, esp foot switchable

Going to run my drummers kick triggers through it live so that we're not stepping on each other's toes with the low end there.

This thing looks so awesome! May we ask for a demo video?
