Will do. I can post a thoroughly A/B comparison with the EHX Synth9, though we're practically talking analog apples and digital oranges.

No. Just asked my buddy today who I had it sent to. Wanted to hear about his underpants wreckage.

Thanks, I like it so so so so much. I've been wanting a hollowbody Gretsch, I've been wanting a guitar with TV Jones pickups and a Bigsby, I've been wanting to try out a guitar with no tone controls. I like playing surf rock, noise rock, dabbling in shoegaze and doom/stoner doom with some atypical gear proclivities. This is scratching pretty much every itch I've had for the past year, guitar wise. I just need to get some heavier string on it and maybe get some locking tuners on it.

Filtertrons LOVE heavy strings, in my experience. I miss having a tone knob on my Cabronita but that's just me. What's the neck like on that re: chunkiness?

I inevitably checked out the store when it opened today and it was not ludicrous like the Corgan one. The EMS Synthi was maybe only a little marked up from street price (which is relative).

Nice score Ruiner, as I mentioned Cortini is one of my heros. I had a hissy fit when I heard he was doing a publicized store though, then eventually (relatively) got over myself and stopped being a baby.

Holy shit, why didn't I get notified of his Reverb shop rather than Duckfuck Corgan's?

Also, I'm surprised you didn't get that Roli there, Ruiner.

It felt fine for me and I play a lot of slim Fender style necks most of the time. I didn't take the time to compare it, but the whole design seems to be veered towards easy to play. I don't miss the tone knob, I never ever ever ever ever use it.
