This is practical!

Going to put a contact mic on it and possibly an overhead as well. Then run the signal through effects such as the Industrialectric Echo Degrader which has infinite repeats of lofi delay so i can create an additive beat that i can have certain hits fade out after it repeats for x amount of time. I also bought a bow that you can use on the springs and the bar at the top for really cool sounds especially when running through pedals.
