I'll probably never be cool enough for ILF 'cause I'll never stop buying cheap delays.
This one has some straightforward stuff that works (infinite clean delays) and some stuff that doesn't, though a lot of that is in the awesome-est way. Tweaking the time knob gives very "digital" wiggles, some of which are super glitchy. Twiddling with the time knob in the tape mode is very gnarly, sounds like a Wizard of Pitch or something like that. If that was on a boo-teek box with an expression pedal and a goofy name on the knob ("ELVENSONG") people would freak out.
I'll check that out! One of my favorite delays happens to also be the cheapest pedal I own (behringer fx600, paid maybe $15)

I grabbed it at C$34 (which is like twenty-five yankee dollars) but I'm seeing it now on Aliexpress for above 40. Patience + diligence may find cheapness.
Quick bit of noodling around: https://clyp.it/nx0b0dt5
Realistic Concertmate-500 through a Donner Echo Square (mostly on "tape" and "reverse" modes). Only other pedal used was a cheap loop station with a reverse toggle.
I just got the Gunslinger and I really like it! It maintains note/chord definition without being ~t r a n s p a r e n t~ and has a really nice blooming growl to the notes that makes them all feel really muscular. On top of that it stacked super well on top of everything I threw at it, create amazing walls of noise. The tone controls are super super versatile, but the high can be a bit harsh on my P-90 equipped tele, can't wait to get my Parker out of the shop to try it with humbuckers. It's almost a must buy at $30, I'm pretty sure it'll cost you more to build.

We should have a game show à la Name That Tune
Inconuucl: I can shoegaze that tune with 5 pedals.
other contestant: I can shoegaze that tune with 4 pedals.

Sitting here waiting for a coat to dry.. and look what shows up..!!
I opened it up already and it's definitely still through-hole, which is cool because all the 2017 and later DS-1's are now SMT.. though it's pretty easy to get old ones still. I just kind of wanted the black one. I'll post about it in my build thread when I do the Keeley mods

Nice. I still want to get one of those. There are actually 2 different black ones I believe. But yea, those are the last through hole ones. Saw an interview with Analog Man saying he bought thousands or some crazy number so they could keep offering them
