Took advantage of Labor Day discounts for some hardcore A/B comparison action:

I should be able to comment more about how they compare to their respective Way Huge and Fredric Effects counterparts sometime late next week.

Incoming..

Just announced today, and well, I found one with a nick in the finish on the back of the headstock on day one. Yay.

Yeah it's not that great. I'm over it already.

It's pretty bad when the Mooer sounds much worse than some low level plastic Digitech MultiFX unit from *checks notes* a decade ago.

Solid. That and the Fooz are working me over with echoes from my prog-ish teens. Don’t have the time to put back into keys, so very attractive stuff.

I'm scared to ask how much that is. I dont even care what it does, I just like the magic mountain on the front.

I'm a damn moron.

For what it seems to do, I think it's a very reasonable $299. :snax:

One of the cooler things about the Meris boxes is how well they fit together....

So, when I ordered these from Vintage King, I wanted to them to ship them to an address in the states; I guess that triggered their fraud system (they haven't told me why exactly it got triggered, even though I've asked, as in zero replies at all). Anyway, copped a pair of LCD-2 Classics from Thomann instead, which just arrived. Holy fuck these shits are huge and heavy, I'm surprised but pleased (they have locking mini-xlrs for each can, wild man). The feel is super rugged. Gonna leave them playing some music at full volume while I'm out over the next couple of days, as I think they need a bit of breaking in, but again, pleasantly surprised already. Oh, I also got a fucking iLok, and will be starting a subscription to all of House of Kush's and Sly-Fi's plugins later today I think. Already have a PickPack sub from Plugin Alliance, and I'm satisfied with this method so far.

I found one of these new and significantly under street price on Reverb:

... and also added a few of the flat EBS patch cables Sweetwater is currently offering at a discount. Hopefully, nothing will be backordered.

Dude that's sweet as hell!! What are you going to do with them? Mechanically bend them and add a piezo with a momentary kill switch to create dope loops and drones?
