I was curious about that thing as well. Would love to see a video of you using it if you are so inclined.

Got rid of BDSM, my new arc flash will be arriving this week. Realised I should never have sold my first.

Got the last available copy of this book in the mail last week, and a new turntable needle so I can sacrifice my old one to the gods of chance
If you're not familiar with Maria's work on turntable, this is the video I watched that got me interested:

And here's an example of what's in the book - should lead to some interesting Cage-ian studies

I'm not very video-y, but
here's a recording I did with it on a friend's composition. Live synth in the R channel, Sixty Second Delay in the L, with little octave jumps courtesy of the MOD mode on the clock speed.
I've been using it for long-note keyb ambient stuff more than Nels Cline-ish many-notes fuck-around-ery, so I'm probably not doing what 90% of however many people have this thing are doing. But I have also been having fun wigging out with it fooling with the knobs and speed-shifting the self-oscillations etc.

I'm bummed (not bummed) to be missing Maria Chavez playing in town next week ('cause I have a gig of my own).

Very pretty, thanks for sharing.

I need to get one of those just as a matter of principle. Pink kink kitties?

And this is great stuff. Just added everything I can find to my Watch Later.

Shouldn’t be buying anything but I couldn’t resist a cheap rubberneck.

Yeah I got (what is supposed to be) a new one for $140. Hopefully it is as advertised and not a store demo or something else like that.

I have hovered over the BUY button so many times for that thing. Saw one as low as $120 pop up for a few minutes this week.

I figure $140 is a good price for an advertised as new unit compared to the deal on blend and b-stocks that has been the norm for a few weeks. I just wonder if this is signaling something... but that’s a subject for a different thread.

Got an old Devi Ever Truly Beautiful Disaster coming soon. Seems like the theme of this year has bee, "get all the gear I wanted when I first joined ILF".
