I've been wanting a synth for years and never can choose, thus never pull the trigger :idk:

It was my second (after a crappy squier tele) and I will get another one eventually.

Toronado arrived today. Someone switched the knobs to black. Not sure if I like it. Might switch them back to chrome. Needs a setup and some new strings but overall in really good shape. The only thing is the bridge pickup seems to be feeding back quite a bit. :whateva: Does that mean it’s microphonic? I’ll have to look into that.

Nice, congratulations! Overall, it seems like a good find. Enjoy rockin' it. :thumb:

I sold my original Toronado pickups to somebody here. Don't remember who though. While back.
Anyway, never had any feedback problems.

Good to know the pickups aren’t normally like that. I’ll keep an eye out for a replacement. Thanks! :joy:

Dayum, that's hot, exactly like mine.

And yes, stock pickups were microphonic as hell, but never had feedback issues.

Congrats!

Damn, I just received the Lexicon LXP15 :!!!:

Sure it's not super convenient, the menu thing is not super fun to play with, but what a sound ! :o
Got it for around $125 CAD too, no way I can get a pedal that sound like that for that kind of price.
It's really deep and sounds beautiful, can't wait to try it with my MS-20 mini next week !

This came yesterday. 1973 Rickenbacker 450

Today I lasercut a new pickguard (the old one was cracked and broken) went over all the solder joints, put on some original knobs and cleaned the whole thing up. It's crazy good, weighs nothing and is one of the loudest guitars I've ever heard.

Also I got a bort licence plate pin, which is also great

The Delay-Reverb and Pitch/Delay algorithms are where it’s at in that box. The Delay-Reverb has a “glide delay”—a delay that modulates delay time with adjustable speed, fun for chorus and flange stuff, particularly if you’re creative about modulation control, which the box has tons of options for. For pitch-delay, it does shimmer tricks, among others, but +5 shimmer can actually sound good thanks to the high-cut control with selectable frequency for the roll-off preceding the feedback loop.

Compared to a PCM-80, this is an easy beast to navigate. But the modulation options and control options are very deep. And play well with CV.

Thanks for the info ! It is pretty deep indeed and seem not too hard to program. I haven't got the time to mess alot with it, I basically played through presets just to have an idea.
I really have to find out how to overwrite presets though, they are all set to 100% wet so I had to turn the mix output down everytime I changed preset

Digitech Freqout pedal :) It's my Christmas present to myself. It sounds great going into the Sitar synth mode on a Digitech Weapon and then into a distorted delay. Doesn't sound as cool as I imagined it would when you play straight clean guitar into it - it sounds very synthy / sinewave like that, but give it some weird harmonics and it's pretty cool indeed.
