I'm still waiting on a few bits, but I've just placed another order for some assorted transistors to add to my ever-growing collection of pedal building components.
I decided when I began that I wouldn't be getting carried away by building anything that needed me to learn how to program, and yet I have saved a link to the Spin FV-1 website . . .
In and assembled after much swearing, new rack case with a few units more than I needed.
Fuck buying anything else for a while, I'm not touching this shit again if I can help it for the forseeable future once I wire in the mics and the Space Echo.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

Yikes, that video is trying too hard.
Having known Devon (online) for 5 years or so now, it's just how he is and what he likes. He's very genuine and humble (and totally into asmr, which is very much reflected in his voice). If you listen to his music it's basically a mirror of his demos and personality. It's fair to not like it, but he knows how to produce music (and more recently, edit videos) and he puts himself into everything he puts his name on. Working hard and trying too hard are very different concepts, imo.
can't you order them in from another country? or would shipping be prohibitive? i buy clothing and/or CDs from the UK/EU literally every time i get a paycheck. often clothes/shoes from outside the US come in colors unavailable here, e.g. my green-with-white Pumas came from Italy, and my new orange Asics trailrunners from the UK.

FIFTY YEARS OF SCARING THE CHILDREN 1970-2020--and i'm not done yet
Just ordered a Fuzz Mutant and a Strymon Volante....ha, second time with the Volante. I wasn't crazy about it before, but I have a feeling it'll be rad in the fx loop of the new amp.
Looking forward to comparing the Fuzz Mutant to the Creepy Fingers Regulus 8. More Mutantes!
Thanks! i've been digging that Creepy Fingers so much, I figured I'd try the Basic Audio version - I almost always like his pedals. It would make a touch more room on my board, too.
