I either have two, or I gave one to a friend in Philly? Don’t remember. I got while the getting was good. I truly think I paid $30 for each one.
Noice! :summon:

Basically a standard one-button looper, but the big knob controls pitch/speed or both on the loop. Waggling the knob around is as weird and glitchy as I was hoping. Pitch/speed down makes a decent pad.

The only bummer is that you can only overdub when speed or pitch are neutral, so you can't make really weird multi-speed loops. But that should be solvable by simply feeding this into another looper...
ok this seems like a ton of fun! thanks for sharing

How come a $40 micro stomp can change the pitch or speed of a loop, but my $500 Roland SX404 looper can't do that?

1. Sorry to hear that. I was really looking forward to your future output! (I still am). Your youtube video is one of my all time favorites.
2. Verizon is like that kid that picks on you all the time and when you stick up for yourself... is the first to tell on you. FUCK THEM! That said, I need a new phone and was looking at this for the same reasons as you. I'm not a 'careful' person (I mean, that said, I've had my NOTE 3 since uh... 2013... and still rocking my 2008 mac [typing on it now]... this is by sheer chance/luck/miracle though). Let a brother know what you think of that phone!
I'll get back into some new video work soon. I don't need to finish the next computer to start the next project, but that is probably why I'm procrastinating now. Going all gen4, I won't even need solid state drives, just a couple nvme straight into the motherboard. Shit's gonna be so fast.
Finally got to the Sprint store and got the phone activated. It is a thick and heavy little brick just like I was hoping. Weighty and manly, in bulldozer yellow. The case is just a shell and probably not that necessary, but I'll take all the extra protection and beefiness I can get on this one. It takes a 128gb micro sd, and the battery can last seven days. The camera is 13mp/4k and has an underwater mode. There's another Cat phone I liked that comes with a thermal camera, but Sprint only works on this one (s48c). Actual nav buttons at the base instead of on the screen is a nice touch, and the gold side button is programmable for two functions, which I set for flashlight (short press) and camera (long press). It seems like a pretty good mix of features and hardware, and the most heavy duty amongst all the other tough/rugged/milspec phones I shopped through. I got an open box on ebay for half of what Sprint was charging on their site. I'm definitely satisfied with an indestructible android that I don't have to make payments on. :yay:

Pretty sure it's coming set up with a low f, which is what I want, but I might have to go with the high e for some session stuff in the future.. The strap thing is actually kind of cool, I have a NS bass already and one of the boomerang straps. I saw Tony play a red 5 string cello years and years ago at bumpershoot, it was really cool, he's ways been a big influence for me, also saw James Brown, Motörhead, Bill Frizell, Screaming trees, Bootsy and the heartbreakers that day :thumb:
