then you might as well just put together your own.

I'd like the thing if the pups were SSH instead of HSS myself.. thing looks like a closet metalzDudEz dream...

Strange as it is, the generic Strat hardtail bridge kills it for me.

It's a Tele for god's sake.

Agreed.
You could slap a Tele bridge on there and it would at least qualify as "Tele" then.
Kudos on the reversed plate though.

I'm not sure I COULD put together my own for as cheap as these are going to be.

and the strat bridge is ok - Tele Deluxes have hardtail strat bridges - rock and roll.

what they are to be $500ish... that is a pretty good budget for a self build if you do your research and don't go crazy on fancy crap.

Yuck.

Did it need to even have 3 pickups?

Anyone else like humbuckers better in the neck position?

It didn't need to have most of the things it has now. Tele bridge+pickup and neck bucker would've made this so much better.

personally, yeah. but the "vast majority of guitar players" like bridge buckers.

and idgaf, but middle pickups sound awesome

it's the scale length that kills it for me. 30" scale or bust.
