Glad you're happy, I still have and like mine 6 months or so later, even if it didn't stop me from grabbing Squier VM Jaguar 2012s and a Squier Mustang to go with it!
Trem is in fact closer to the bridge on the Mascis but not the VMs, and will accomodate a Roland synth pickup control bulb on the rear strap post (and the pickup itself on a LP-bridge mount). Regular Squier VMs won't, nor will any of the AVRIs (or real vintage) except the 50th special edition.
