I don't mind paying a premium on their top of the line stuff, but the price increases across the board are sometimes harsh

Over $1,100 for the baja tele? That much for a mim tele? Not knocking mim quality, I own 2 mim strats and I love them and the baja is a fantastic tele, but really...may as well get that les paul studio i've been wanting for that much.

I've been thinking of picking up another guitar...I'm not a big guitar buyer. I just have two electrics.
But when I do buy, it'll most likely be used or a NOS type sale.

I'm a big fan of odd Fenders (my main guitar is a Dlx American Stratosonic), but I really only like hardtail. So that puts me in a difficult position.

I'd have to block most Fenders.
But what I'd really like is a new Carvin SH550.

The used market is a goldmine right now. They can raise their prices all they want.

Well...there are a few old fender guitars/basses not really popular,but good sounding and affordable.Like the fender bullet.My friend just recently bought one for cheap,and it screams fender!Really good for all around rock,punk,alternative,etc.Of course,some hate the look,some love it.This kinda looks like something that might end up in Jack White's hands :lol:
