SPOILER : show
Low-key kinda pissed they didn't make any connection to Discovery with the episode, and that the Big Bad Synths™ were a completely pointless plot device.
The last episode made me realize the entire fucking show is equivalent to maybe a 2-part episode from previous ST installations.

I was really dissapointed with the show... actually liked Discovery more.
There was quite some fan service and nostalgia triggers, but overall the essence of the "old" star trek (TNG) got lost. I think they could've made it much better. Shame.

No, it wouldn't, but this show wasn't really following the old Star Trek model, so I had hope. In the end, they took the drawn-out storytelling and flashy cinematography of modern TV and combined it with the inconsequentialism of old episodic Star Trek in a way that just fell flat. Only one episode before this they had me thinking the story was really going somewhere, but then it just didn't.
