At least you have masks? Even if they don’t have biological filters, they’ll still offer some protection

Pretty stir crazy in the suburbs of NY. My kids school had a teacher test positive earlier in the week and we’ve been in our house since Monday. I somehow got ahead of the curve and bought tons of food and water last week (while all my friends laughed at me for getting ready for “just the flu”). Obviously things are escalating fast....but not fast enough. While gatherings of 500 or more are banned in New York, my office that holds 700 people is discouraging people from remote working...thankfully my kids school has been closed so I have been able to stay pretty isolated.

Main problem is lots of people are walking around with this still and don’t know it, spreading it. Next week is going to get interesting and the economic aftershocks will be devastating, this inflection point is a much bigger life change than 911 was for NY. My daughter had a mystery fever that seems to be gone now but a dry cough has us concerned...she tested negative for flu and strep...corona tests aren’t around yet so we’ll know in a few days I guess if we all get sick?

Everyone stay safe and smart. We will get through this but things won’t be comfy for a while.

We stocked up a little after I made this thread. Nothing too insane, but it should last us another two weeks from now. Uni is closed, but I'm only writing term papers from home so no time off from finishing those, unfortunately. I have agoraphobia anyways, so I usually spend 95% of my days at home to begin with. More worried about family and friends who are still having to work. Gonna teach my mom how to order everything she needs online, so she can stay safe. Her lungs are shit, and she's almost 60,meaning that catching this is not very cool. My niece has pretty serious asthma as well, so I want to make sure my sister has everything she needs.

Stat safe, read books, masturbate and play music.

We only have like $20 until Friday so it looks like I'm gonna be wrasslin' toilet paper away from a boomer at some point this week.

“The advantage of using faux-blood bodypaint, demonic face masks, and heavy layers of latex foam sculpted to look like big-ass skulls with two-foot blades sticking out is twofold,” said CDC spokesman Marcus Chan. “It creates an effective barrier the virus can’t pass through, and if anyone exhibiting symptoms comes too close, you can simply shoot alien semen or viscera at them — say, through a decorative udder.”

If I hear the phrase ”social distancing” one more time I'm going to try this recommendation at a supermarket.

Maybe all those Mad Max people were just dressed that way as a social distancing cosplay bit?

Pretty sure for true social distancing you need the boomerang knife

The only real solution is to upload all of that somewhere and share the link here.

I know the feeling Dowi. Make new stuff instead and maybe for once you'll have the time to finish it while you still think it's good.
