I picked up three in the end, but it's encouraged me to do a deeper dive over the next few weeks.

Thanks Paul!

I grabbed the three new Sunn O))) rehearsal things things for Life Metal they put up just under the wire.
I don't know why, they'll all exactly sound the same. :idk: :p

Aw, merci! I keep meaning to grab your discography deal but I drained my paylpal balance too quickly yesterday... hopefully by the time it recharges next month.

After a chat with a friend who has a lot more experience with Bandcamp I've changed everything to name your own price - so you could have the lot for free should you so choose.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't buy digital music very often, I'm more a phisical media guy, but lately I'm reconsidering my choices, so I bought a bunch of digital releases yesterday, probably more than I ever bought.
next week playlists are gonna be fressssssh (also a couple ones from ILF people, realized I ended my monthly PayPal credit before I could snag a couple more but will definitely add those next month).

I tend to have both name-your-price and prix-fixe things in my bandcamp. I realize it probably doesn't matter much to anyone else, but I do have a sort of hierarchy of releases... some things are more-carefully constructed "statements", and others just things I glommed on there in the joyful frenzy of creativity. So I feel like an artiste for insisting on money for the former.

I also leave my prices low, just 'cause I've noticed as a listener I'm way more likely to impulse buy something that's, say, under five bucks. At my level I'm likely to get more money overall from several sales at $3-$5 than fewer sales at $8-$10.

it makes sense. i definitely structure my prices based on how much effort went in. But ultimately I'm not hugely bothered so I should probably just make everything free haha.

As a user, one of the things that annoys me about Bandcamp is that PAYW (pay as you want) albums aren't going to be on the app without a minimum payment. I'd much rather just give bands $1 or whatever by default and have them available to stream.
good deals are here.

Wait they're not on the app for streaming? Fairly sure I've bought some PAYW stuff that shows up in my app...

I'd never not pay even if it's a fairly cursory amount.

Is it confirmed there's another one? I've been keeping a list instead of foolishly buying albums two days before like I did last time.

same, waiting to see some official announcement, but i just check the email i got the last time and it clearly says "we’re doing the same thing again on Friday, June 5 and Friday, July 3, from midnight to midnight PDT on each day." so i guess it's confirmed.
