I forgot I'd ordered them :) but two mini joysticks arrived this morning for me to put in a box to make a four in one expression pedal set up.

Weirdly it was cheaper to buy ones that spring back to the centre than ones with free movement, so I've just spent a little while dismantling them and removing parts.

Next up is deciding on a suitable box and drilling holes in it for the joysticks and four stereo jacks, then it'll be time to find out if it works :)

(it might make more sense to hook one jack socket up to a joystick to try it out before I drill holes, tbh)

If it does then I'll have to acquire yet more stereo cables for some mad professor style joystick waggling.

Wow, so cheap, what is the downside you ask? Well it's been converted to a 2x15"... pretty sturdy baffle it looks like and just two unmarked, generic speakers. Haven't tried it with an amp yet but the connection measures 8 ohms (as well as one below that which measures nothing, and an extra 4 ohm speaker wire snap-lock thing). Lined with that gross, white, sound-insulating fluff too. Maybe later I*ll switch the spkrs if these don't sound good.

A weird find but I had to buy it for so little. It will probably end up as a bass/keyboard cab at the rehearsal for nothing space.
a 2x15 for one metal zone might be the best cab deal I have ever heard of.
Indeed! Now it's two times I've gotten lucky with a Marshall cab (might have to get engaged soon huh huh). Last one was the JCM800 2x12" that my old neighbour sold me just before he moved, but I paid like three MetalZones for that. At least I can carry that one, this 2x15" stays in the basement for now. Hooked up the Micro Terror today and tested it, thankfully both speakers work and sound good.

Awesome! Full size is the correct choice. I'm not so happy with the keys of my MS-20 mini.

Dawner Prince Boonar
Mine sounded incredible but just before the pandemic it started emitting a high pitched whine (bypassed or not, even when in true bypass mode) that from what I can gather is the charge pump. I sent in a question to Dawner, they responded once then I didn't get another e-mail. Kinda wrote it off since the pandemic was in full swing and I wasn't that gung ho about shipping it off to Eastern Europe anyway.

That’s a total bummer! Hope that won’t happen with mine!

Sound amazing overdriving it with the -50db input setting.

Sound on sound time, now I just have to find a local buyer for the RE-101.
