We'll I'm going to say laziness. I guess if everyone spammed everyone selling a instrument what it weighed?
I am seeing that with everything now.. it's weird as I know buying is down.. because no gigs.. so any rise would be do to collectors? Maybe because the hair metal generation are at the age of boomers on the 90's now anything 80's is overpriced?

Comping: Bartolini Bill Dickens Conklin 7 string bass Bridge pickup & Bartolini preamp [V, M, T&B]

I almost order something custom but cost plus no one has a "base" model they are will to say "ok here is what we make the most"... They all say they will make anything and it's $$$... while I think that is rad and I could give them a bunch or crazy ideas I really want something generic and basic.. I think what I will do if I NEED another pickup is add on/off switches before the preamp and adjust the balance with pickup height...

Pladask Taken (2020)

Pecan Edera
GFI Specular Tempus
Bliss Factory (This came in . . . like it, probably keep it and sell other FF's, this may be replacing Plasma pedal for a bit)
Out:
Cooper Arcades x2 (don't like having to set both back up again for every restart)
EQD/DBA Time Shadows x2 (nice but not much variety)
Oto Machines Bim (nice sound but too much menu diving, memory requirements of what button does what)
Oto Machines Bam (same)
Hologram Microcosm (hate this fucking thing, what the fuck are they thinking)
Erica Zen Delay (awesome but way too big for what it is)
Erica Fusion Box (awesome but way too big for a mono box on my board)
Strymon Mobius (may try a Modfactor instead? Want a stereo modulation unit in this spot but Mobius is not going to be it)
dude.

I've regretted selling my Onde Magnetique Cassette Tape Echo for a while, finally found one in good shape at a reasonable price.
Almost bit on one of the Onde Magnetique tape Mellotron things a few weeks ago but I'm unconvinced that I could actually use it musically instead of just having an expensive toy.

Holy fuck balls that looks like so much fun.
Despite all the non-sense I've bought and tried, Tensor is still my desert island pedal. Not only does it do so much, but it is super accessible and controllable. It was probably the one pedal that I was most conflicted about keeping when I first got it, but fell deeply and madly in love with it once I started to understand it.

Pladask Taken is probably my number 2 pedal at the moment. Its just so gorgeous sounding. The 2 asynchronous delays on their own are truly glorious sounding, but when you set the feedback to the edge of oscillation it produces this absolutely stunning sheen around your music. I can't get enough of it. My horrible guitar playing even sounds good through it.

Dear Secret santa I might have broken my vow of not buying anything until Christmas - but pleas understand, my birthday was last week, I sold a couple pedals so I gave myself a little present.
I won't say what it is, but least it wasn't on my wantlist, and there's no chance you are gifting me the same thing

This is good news for me

What's your number 1?

Yeah. When I finally get tired of struggling with equipment, I just get rid of them all, try new stuff in their place. I kind of have a system that requires certain things in certain places etc.

yeah i can't imagine what it's like to rewire your beast of a board with all the foot controllers each time you change a pedal.

I'm pretty in love with this pedal. Definitely the most versatile & accessible pedal I've gotten ahold of in a while.
Here's a bunch of settings that I photographed and labeled while messing around...the ponderer sounds demo really shows off the range. This one is a HUGE winner and it will be a mainline product and easy to get (easy for Pladask that is).
Snagged 3 other pedals yesterday and have my eye on 3 pedals getting dropped tomorrow. I planned and budgeted for this, but it looks like I may go slightly above budget if I am lucky enough to land all 3 tomorrow. I expect at least 1 or 2 for tomorrow to be a miss though.
