On further thought, the subdecay would be disqualified, for me, for not having a dedicated rate/speed knob. I know it is tap tempo but I need to sweep that stuff up and down and all around.

Cauldron unstirred. I don't need the dual LFO/different rhythms, I only want it to do a simple rhythm

Or just get a gristleizer... you get a filter with it as well as a trem.

It isn't the number of tentacles you have that matters, it is how wet you draw them that really counts.
