You might also consider the Lightning Wave Ghost. You can have whatever wave shape you want and interface with other CV stuff.

Yeah my friend showed me that one. And I love the idea but practically it isn't what I'm after, the interface isn't too my liking. Plus I don't need the funky waveshapes so there's still a chance that after all this looking I buy a TR-2

TR-2 is still a good option if you don't need fancy things. Still better than the EQD Hummingbird, one of the most disappointing tremolos I have ever tried. I don't know why, it just didn't sound good in my setup.

The only thing that make me hesitate is the price tag of the Twin Peaks.

You can get these for 'sort of' cheap (it's relative to you), the Alexander Colour Theory is the pedal I am spending the most time with lately. It has a trem setting and, pardon my Jersy-ian speak, a litany of other shit on board. I really love the filter (it's not your warm fat moogish filter... it's synthetic, kind of crusty... It's like Ben Affleck in GOOD WILL HUNTING... your tough friend that is rough around the edges... but has your back and want's the best for you).

Plus you can do cool things with pre-sets (morph), midi, and expression (you don't have to... it's there if you want it).

I'm very picky about interface and like to avoid things that have a lot of features I don't use. So that doesn't look perfect off the bat. Which isn't a no, but .. if I'm spending that much on a pedal I want it to be one I really jive with, even if it does less stuff. I know I'm a fusspot

I'm suggesting it cause you can score one for like $140. It does that simple trem with an interface of a simple trem... BUT, if you want to rub the Genie out of the bottle the option is there.

How many other pedals (besides obviously digitech multi-effects -> Which are great btw... Still have my RP-5200 [Actually that can't do my new example... I wrote this before I finished my thought) can you go from your basic trem... tap and boom you have an oscillator now?

Haha. I like that this exists. But is this weird? I don't want a tremolo that can also be an oscillator. Even if I never used that, having the feature there that I don't use would bug me. That's really dumb, but I've learned that it's how I think. Not very smart. But I'll watch some videos of the Alexander maybe it's worth it. Rules are made to be broken etc

I love and respect you so I will appreciate our differences.. I am just... such of the opposite mindset
