https://forum.seymourduncan.com/forum/a ... 6-cabinetsIf you look at the model number, those "designed for Line 6" Celestions are actually just rebadged Seventy 80's. Not even "voiced for emulations", just budget Celestions that happen to be somewhat flat-sounding.

It is pretty impressive bang for the buck. I couldn't find shit for reviews or demos of just the cab, so had to go off intuition. Plenty of stupid and way old and uninformed posts just saying "the valve cab with V30s is their only good one, spider sucks because it's a spider" etc. The closest I got to a clue about the speakers was on the seymour duncan forum:

Here!!! At last...
the last cooperfx card that I was missing.

the collector in me feels warm and fuzzy

Going...$500 that I just acquired selling some non-music stuff that was taking up space...how to spend it though? Thinking about maybe (another) guitar, or maybe a Moog DFAM, or a Judder, or maybe hunt something that's currently overpriced but hard to get on my GAS list or or or...but all of a sudden it seems like every pedal builder is dropping pedals. What a time to be alive, but what a horrible time to be a wallet.

Both of the exclusive programs on that AE card are really nice, I think! I use the random tremolo a lot.

Re: Gasalcoholics anonymous? whoever said this was a help gr
At some point this week I should receive a sizeable amount of money, as my late dad's estate has finally been wrapped up.
I'm not really interested in spending wild amounts on any one thing (and I'd like to hang on to most of it for retirement rather than blow it all on gear
)
Having said that, I am still finding small things to buy, so once it comes through I'm planning to buy myself:
A Squier Bass VI in shell pink.
A Fender Champion 40 combo (I've never owned a Fender amp but I can't be bothered with valve amps).
A violin bow.
and maybe a Squier Mini P Bass later in the year.
Then it'll be time to stop buying stuff and time to start playing and recording again.

This cool guy showed up today:
I have a Clubber Lang en route too, so I’m hoping maybe I’ll be accepted into the Clang Gang and get my membership card in the mail next.

Heck yeah Clang! I was debating whether to sell this but then I remembered how good it is on bass.

Yeah, I hadn’t really thought of it either. I would think they would be fairly similar results since the Clang is inspired by the Driving Notion. Son of Notion?manymanyhaha wrote:You know, Ive never thought about trying the Driving Notion on bass. Or is this just a Clang thing?

Dr. Scientist The Elements is due to arrive on my doorstep today. Never had one before. So excited to flip some toggles.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.
