Yeah, o rings are real good! I use them. And they solve the problem. They make it a pain in the ass if you want to change anything, but I can't have my cake and eat it too. So the gig board is pretty much nothing moves if it's important. This also gives me a good excuse to have a home board with moveable knobs. Makes it easier to justify dumbass purchases.

I do prefer the look of normal knobs to little 9mm pots. They look pretty basic.

Edit: Just realised this statement above makes no sense with my previous statements. I had to stack like 3 o-rings under each knob on the mini and it just got out of hand (because the knobs sit high). Honestly it wasn't a problem but I made it out to be a problem so i could justify flipping it to justify buying new stuff instead of just playing the gear I had.

This came in today. I really enjoyed it with a Particle in the loop, as well as a MOOD, and a reverb. I'll have to try a Grazer and a phaser next. Mostly I've used the SEQ mode with synth pads (for faux modular types of textures), but I've also done sort of a slow, ramping setting, too, for atmospheric passages. Not deep with it, but it's already given me some ideas and new sounds.

i don't mind those 9mm pots on the lil rat, but i really wish they'd used the ones with white indicators painted on. without the indicators, they're pretty hard to read in low-light settings. but i guess proco was really trying to keep costs down.

for what it's worth, you can screw knobs onto those pots, but they'll wiggle a lot

i'll have to look into that Duncan delay - their stuff always intrigues, but i keep finding little niggles here and there that keeps me from going with them (plus i have now reached a saturation level where i find skepticism is my new mode zero)

i have not much to say about knobs other than, why, after a century plus of knobs on electronic devices are we still so far from getting our planetary knob gain fully on point?

Right there. I really want to hear a beta tester demo rather than a demo person demo to see if more worthy sounds can be gotten out. I hear hints of thing but I’m not sure I hear enough useful application yet. Seems like an attempt to claim a spot on a line between the Rubberneck and the Thermae, but it doesn’t seem as easy as the Rubberneck or to have the deep functionality of the Thermae. I’m open to being impressed, though. Just not hearing it yet.

The vfe pedals use 9mm pots. When I can't find the long shaft ones with the White stripes I'll use the ones without. They still have the indentation for the marker it's just not marked. Looks like the same thing for the rat. You can use a white paint pen and then swipe the top with your finger and it works great.

It is on the back. The Custom mode is a bit more brilliant and modern sounding.

Oh.. well thats boring. They could have made something exciting like make the eq dimed and have new eq upon that for furthur tone sculpt. Not that they would have needed to put that much r'nd in a pedal people just buy for the LHP feelies

Maybe they should have added a Mids option. I don't mind the re-release since the prices on used ones are absurd. Buy a brand new one for the same price.
