I may be wrong but to me (the Omnichord) it's not worth the Hype.
I have a friend who has been using it in different bands since a lot of years, but the result is always similar. I say that maybe I'm wrong because probably it's just him that uses it only that way.
For a smaller price it is surely a nice device, but there's no way it's worth 500.

just get an autoharp, put a pickup on it, and run it through some of these sick effects pedals.

seriously, my gf gave me an autoharp which i need to figure out how to amplify. add a big deep Lexicon reverb and chorus and there's another new genre: Appalachian dream-pop.

I think even if it was priced reasonably I'd get tired of it pretty quickly. I just wanted to run one through an HM-2 or something and that seemed like a cool thing
