Yes, all three pedals: Ottobit Jr., Mercury7, and Polymoon will accept CV over the EXP jack.

I tested the Lighting Wave EVA last night with the Ottobit Jr and Merc7 and OMFG! The EVA makes these so much more useful. Seriously guys! I'd suggest getting one for your arsenal if you have not yet. It opens up the Merc7 a fuck ton. The coolest thing is that it reacts with the 7 like a gate. So, when you are using the swell effect, it can close it really quickly or extend it out infinity. It also make it more open in general.

With the Otto, the more you starve the voltage, the odder it reacts. It can create extremely odd timed sequences. I was having a fucking blast with it last nigh. I almost want to talk Lee into making some kind of expanded version of that sucker. It's really, really, really good. I wish I could control bother pedals with it at the same time or sweep the cv with expression while using this controller. That would be rad.

Tried running dual engines in left/right stereo with both delays set to one of the filter algos, but set to different speeds?

That said, I have a Mercury 7 and an Empress Reverb so it would probably be somewhat hypocritical of me to say that having a fair amount of feature overlap is a deal breaker
Damon,

I'm not sure if you meant it this way, but what you said kind of seems a bit off cuff and rude. I know Ruiner doesn't always play with things like some of us do, but who cares? Maybe I'm reading this wrong. I appreciate he's a gear hound though.

Going to try and rustle up some cash for this bad boy, the Ottobit Jr. and Mercury7 are two of the most exciting pedals I have ever bought! Any idea when these are going to be hitting the UK?

I have a EVA on the way and I can't wait to try this out! I wouldn't have thought about trying it with the meris pedal for some reason.

I've been trying it with everything I can. LOL! Even my Iron Ether stuff, and it does so much whacky shit, I love it. I'm going to need a second one.

I've been refreshing a Meris search on Vintage King all week. Was delighted to find the Polymoon pre-order page up. I think I just reserved the first unit in their initial batch. :!!!:

Sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for a polymoon, wondering why Meris only offers fed ex ground shipping. Why no priority mail?? Fed ex ground so slow you might as well send your package through a modulated delay network. Where is the knob to adjust the late modulation speed of my pedal transit?

It's cheaper for businesses to use FedEx. You're reducing their costs and simplifying their workload, by being limited to a single carrier.

FedEx is the worst domestic carrier in terms of customer service, but their model is set up to cater more to businesses than individual users. I've had this talk with multiple people, including sales reps at big retailers and my brother, who owned a shipping store.

As a business owner, FedEx is the worst shipping option out there.
Fuck FedEx.
They charge you after shipping is completed and add charges all along the way.
So, when they say it'll cost you $20 to ship, they really mean it'll cost $20 to take it to the store + $10 for gas for their truck + $10 because they fucked up the shipping address + $15 because you were stupid enough to choose FedEx rather than driving the package to the customer's location yourself.

This is my experience as an individual (not a business owner).

Back on topic, my Mercury 7 is sitting at the post office waiting for me to get off work!

This company and their pedals have flown right under my radar for months, apparently.

Holy cow, I am impressed.

I've grown stale with my Big Sky and have been looking for a reverb that inspires me. I think I've found it. Ottobit seems like a worthwhile addition, too.

I've hated FedEx for years (they completely botched a claim, which cost me $500, among other blunders), but there's a reason why high-volume shippers use them over UPS & USPS. It's all about logistics. ---See Vintage King, Sweetwater, Critter & Guitari, Meris, and many other manufacturers and merchants.

Back to Meris, I'm eagerly waiting to see some more demos, or hear some more clips. :snax:
