Butcher buds! I've never seen anyone have a VTM as well. Have you had a chance to compare them with the VTM's xxxtra switches disengaged?

Yeah I have, the VTM with the switches disengaged has more gain. I never use those switches anyway. A lot of people say the preamp in the Butcher is the same as a Marshall 2203.

Left my matching Orange 4x12 back east when I moved . But I think I could've done worse with what I replaced it with.

Man, I've wanted an AD30 ever since I started playing guitar. I don't know for sure why. But it just looks fucking sweet.

Fixed up my old amp, realised it matches the new guitar pretty well.

It's a Princeton I made with a Celestion Gold 12 inch in there. Pretty good volume match for my twin to be honest. Just dirty as anything and hates pedals...

The novelty of an orange colored amp still hasn't worn off on me after four years with this thing . Oh and it sounds pretty good too ;). Actually I fell in love with it all over again after I switched to humbuckers and started exploring the second/dirtier channel. Thing rips.

I'm picturing a corgi wearing sunglasses playing this setup and it's pretty much the best thing ever

Here is one of my favorite recording amps

Image

This is an old Electrohome AF2 radio that I converted into a guitar amp. I removed all the guts inside and only keep the metal chassis along with the wood case assembly.

Image

An "old school" point to point wiring attempt :wha?: but it do the job!

Image

Here is the little alnico 6 inches original speaker and output transformer

Image

How good does it sounds? I recorded some samples using a SM57 faced very close to the original 6" alnico speaker

I love overdriven tube sound coming from small amp so much .. what do you think? :)
