Heraclitus Akimbo wrote:Was kinda thinking of burning stuff onto a cd and using it like a weird sampler? Plus it has some excellently-cheesy effects on board. (Including a bunch of vocal effects called things like "megaphone" and "shouting".)
I looked up the manual for this, and I'm pleased and impressed that they list those vocal effects--shout, screaming, response, proclaim--without offering any description as to what those effects might be. The amp version only has guitar effects.
i love the tascam frontplate

Another track made with the Tascam amp. Just a barrel of laughs all around.

I had no idea these went up in value! I have just the pedal, no box or adapter. Throw me a price if you're interested. (Only two on Reverb right now between $250 - $300)

This funds me seeing my favorite band Pavement in potentially they're last US show for the time being in two weeks in SLC, so it's supporting a nerdy good cause. Thanks gang.

You're missing the subtle social commentary.

FOMO-fed monopolies stand betwixt us and our objects of pumped up desire.

The last Pavement nostalgia show is in-personed through impersonation by TicketMaster.
Similarly, the jacked-up lumber of our resale-woodies are propped up with FOMO-inflated
flip-hype-hyperbole hysteria by Reverb.com.

See? The gatekeepers are keeping the objects shiny and alluring over there where we mere
mortals are not allowed to tread. But we want to tread so bad! We fear missing out, and being
kept outside the velvet rope.

Memories fade. Nostalgia is the injection of formaldehyde directly into our brains to preserve
that nebulous tingle so that we won't realize that if we breach the velvet rope and achieve the
shiny, alluring object over there, a new over there will emerge with new objects of desire.

Ikea provided me with a nice pedal storage option that will help me get inspired by those shiny little metal boxes as well. Hated it when everything was in drawers.

For US residents, what is the tax situation for selling equipment? At one point they announced anything above $600 was the threshold for declaring income on Ebay (etc) sales. But I think that got postponed (but I'm not sure). Anybody know?

So, unless there is a change from Congress, the reporting requirements should be in place for the current 2023 tax year that returns will be filed for next year.

Nice collection! I’ve always wanted a Super Ringtone- the Super Seek Wah I had was very fun and a solid little unit.

I saw a bunnegitarr in a store today. I had frantically been trying to find out what they are called after just randomly remembering one from elementary school. Dont know how how cool they really are, a proper dulcimer/hummel/taishigoto probably is way more useable by being not totally diatonic. Still a kinda weird punk junk nostalgia attached to it. Did not end up getting it but a cool spotting, mostly cause i know what they are called.

What was actually cool was the levin tenor i also saw!
