Have a similar set up but with a bassmaster.
Yeah, it's the VM cab.
I was close to buying a Bassmaster instead of this, but price was too good, and I love the beaten up look it has.

Since my old drummer is being a cocksucker about giving me back my Marshall 412 cab, I decided I needed a 212, its easier to get around in my car.

Definitely sounds much different when tilted back, and it was a pretty easy job once I got the proper hardware.
What's up with this AC30 head?

Ac30 heritage, piecing together new glass for it, trying to go with old stuff but running reissues for the el84's, still need an el34, but old mullards are so spendy. I got the tone master cab locally, and put a celestion blue and green in it, then fitted the head with the piggyback hardware.

NAD: peavey encore 65

2x6L6 - 3x 12AX7 - 1x12AT7
Love it! Cheap and ugly as fuck, loud, nice overdrive and takes muffs like I do...

I was gonna get a tiny terror, then I stumbled into an OR15. Which I love my OR15, it reminds me of those old Matamps, which are great. I've still want to get a micro, something about it I find cute.

Love those things. though I think the only way to use them is "every knob all the way up".

Micro Terror was awesome. Had a little bit more headroom than the Tiny Terror, but I wanted tube output. I also want to screw around with the tubes in this guy and see if I can get the crunch to be a little more rounded and less fizzy. I think some swapping of the preamp tubes will do it

This is what I have lying around at the moment:
Valvetone Impact 2watt, Sovtek MIG100H, Peavey 6505, 74 Marshall Super Bass

Fender SF Bassman, Fender BF Bassman

Ampeg V4

Fender HRD

Goldentone Reverbmaster 60

Orange AD30

The Super Bass is my holy grail amp. Pretty lucky to have scored one a couple years back
The HRD is ole faithful. The first proper amp I bought new in 2008ish. Its a handy size and I have never had a single issue with it.
I once sold Sovtek to a guy, then begged to buy it back haha. Eventually he did. Not making that mistake twice.
The Ampeg V4 is currently being totally overhauled and made stock again (i bought it this way. badly done master volume mod, plus some other half-arsed fixes) . Its also getting a new faceplate from Fliptops.
The Valvetone 2watter is handy for quiet practice. It was custom-made for me based on the features I wanted.
The Goldentone Reverbmaster 60 is a cool old Australian amp. Very Fenderish and clean/crisp sounding. Still gotta get the reverb working on it...
The Bassmans are awesome, but they don't really have the headroom that I want, and the restrictive 4ohm only output along with the fact that I need to use a stepdown transformer with them kinda sucks. Still debating on whether I'll keep them or sell them.
The 6505 and the AD30 are trade fodder. But I am liking the 6505 more than I expected to.

Woah, you don't see many single channel AD30's around. They are in really high demand over here in the UK.

Did you A/B it with the dark terror? i've heard it lifts the blanket off of it, although i don't think that much gain is necessary (more how the shape knob works)
saw a clip of a fuzz factory running into a tiny terror coming out of a 2x12 or something, it was fucking awesome.
cute verellen too!
Nah I bought this off EBay and hadn't played either before finding this for cheap. Dark Terror seems cool but like you said I really don't need that much gain. I usually use pedal dirt, but I have been setting this guy to be a little on the hairy side and just running an El Cap into it. That's been pretty awesome. I've kept the tone knob around noon or just a little past and haven't had any qualms with it. The stock preamp tubes were horrible though. I swapped them for EHX and it made the amp a little darker, with a much warmer and fuller sounding gain.
