I don't wanna be the guy that quotes Bill Hicks all the time...but he was so dead on with this:
By the way if anyone here is in advertising or marketing... kill yourself.
No, no, no it's just a little thought. I'm just trying to plant seeds. Maybe one day, they'll take root - I don't know. You try, you do what you can. Kill yourself.
Seriously though, if you are, do.
Aaah, no really, there's no rationalisation for what you do and you are Satan's little helpers. Okay - kill yourself - seriously. You are the ruiner of all things good, seriously. No this is not a joke, you're going, "there's going to be a joke coming," there's no fucking joke coming. You are Satan's spawn filling the world with bile and garbage. You are fucked and you are fucking us. Kill yourself. It's the only way to save your fucking soul, kill yourself.

Bad taste would be a double neck guitar with airplane inlays. These are just kind of ugly.

Talkin' 'bout this:

And yeah, this whole thing is just like straight outta Mr. Show or something. Quote from the website:
“I had a strong vision of what I wanted,” Clarke said. “The biggest problem with the guitars was that there’s not a lot of real estate. Each guitar tells a story, and the hardest part was to paint the tragedy while still portraying ourselves as emerging triumphant.”
Making a guitar to "commemorate" 9/11 just DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I know that, for the most part, the world is pretty much totally absurd. But... there's just... and then you have these three assholes designing a guitar that nobody wants, does no justice to anything, and saying shit like "The biggest problem with the guitars was that there's not a lot of real estate", which I don't even have to BEGIN to explain the horrible post-post-modern irony of.
Yuck.

If they wanted more realestate, could have made a Jazzmaster.

OK one more reason to hate Eric Clapton!
Also: I got the resemblance to the original frank, just making the comment that fender and Eddie are in the business of guitar prostitution.
