Hells yeah on preferring 'buckers in the neck and not in the bridge. And why pick the Tele neck pickup as the one to keep? They're cool -- if you've got a Tele bridge pickup to work it with. Sometimes on their own, yeah, but the synergy, including as contrasting colors, is what makes them work.

i'm personally a big fan of neck tele single probably wouldn't buy a neck HB tele

I'm considering getting one of these and throwing a '72 Deluxe Reissue P90 or HB loaded pick guard on it and calling it a day.
That's probably what they should have done in the first place since they weren't going with the OG Tele bridge.
