Those pictures look great.
My former brigade runs the Army's military mountaineering school and I had a very... outdoorsy job, so I got to spend a lot of time walking around outside. I'm recently civilian (by choice), but that's one of the things I miss.

Um what? My climbing game is super, super weak these days (fulltime grad student plus military for the past two years, which both makes jack a very dull boy and severely weakens his grip strength), but I'm incredibly jealous. If I were an hour from J Tree I would probably give up drinking.

Not really hiking... mostly mushroom hunting. Had a great time in Sudbury (Ontario).

I think it's a baby carcajou (wolverine).
Edit: it's a "martre d'Amérique" (same family as the carcajou), don't know the name in english.

I've been mushroom hunting so many times but know enough that I need to know more
