Any parcel sent as gift over 1000 Norwegian monies total including shipping is subject to import taxes and fees (it's expensive as shit). If there's alcohol in there it bypasses this rule and you have to pay tax and fees on everything in the parcel, which is even more expensive. So, don't send me alcohol please, but please send as gift with total value on the declaration as stating that it contains less than 1000 nok in goods including shipping costs.

In the USA, you can apply a handful of stamps (weight appropriate) to just about anything, but I'm with them on the liquids rule, especially since I'm loading a box that will be 1) traveling during the holidays (cold blows those winds), and will no doubt suffer the woes of said travel, 2) filled with delicate fings of an electronic variety (please don't send batteries, people) & 3) nothing worse than taking great care in choix of said box just to pour drizzle drinks all over, whilst in transit.

Bascially, what I'm saying is if you gotta send some cans, at least send the drink box apart from all your schtuff, as to not rumble thee ire of our cross continent postal services (unless you're using DHL, then you might as well send your package to Middle Earth c/o the Triangle of Sadness). Taxes and fees are also a big no no, as UG sez.

And since I've delved too much into The Silk Road history for what accounts for a snail's lifetime, I'll say that whatever else is illegal that you could possibly send is probably not worth your time, unless airplane glue is your thing?
