Thanks for the VCA input. Trying to snag a deal on Veils now...

I was actually very surprised with my Veils. It has a pretty decent overdrive when you turn up the gain and it is very useful as a mixer as well

Nice. Overdrive is a good perk. The Beast-Tek Irukandji I recently got has a v. quiet output which I would like to boost.

I'm using my tangle quartet as a mixer but I think I'll probably add another vca to my case now that I've got a little more room. Shouldn't have sold that damn happy nerding

- the bipolar feature was really nice.

Just wanna bitch in here real quick about how a good portion of eurorack used sale posts outside of ILF are "shipping is not included in price." What a tight ass community.

I find including a shipping charge for a casual transaction like buying a module off a guy on the internet to be completely fucking dumb.
Why in the name of God do you have to sell something for 150$ with a 6.95$ shipping fee? Just charge 156.95$ for Christ's sake.
Same with PayPal fees. Just include it in the fucking cost, man. I'm not here to solve your fees equation I'm here to buy a fucking module, son.

If it's bitching hour, I've got a fuckin bone to pick with Conjured Circuits.
Ordered a µO_c back in Nov. Didn't get it till Feb. Had a faulty TR3 input, hit the dude up and he said he'd get me out a same-day replacement. He's had my module since Wednesday of last week, no tracking in sight. Hit him up on discord (because he uses it a lot, to promote sales or whatever), and it's been "I'll get to it today" for over a week now. Would not recommend buying direct from him at all.
Gimmie my damn shiz back mang

oof. can you cancel and get a refund? dood that did my Jove and uO_c is PIMP. super quick, quality builds, has helped me out with a bunch of off purchase things.
shippings - yeah. include it. i do get the "paypal friends and fam or add 3%" because you know. fuck fees.
but i usually list 20 or 30 below normal used prices just to MOVE. THINGS.
I'M GOING TO REPOST THIS BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE IT AND IT'S THE CLOSEST I'VE FELT TO HAVING A SONG ACTUALLY DONE SINCE I STARTED MODULAR SO YEAH.

I think I have to re-think my entire Euro setup.
Dug into the Digitone a lil. Holy fuck is this thing powerful. The presets in the soundbank are really good and don't require much tweaking at all (probably the exact opposite process of the Rev2). Only gripe so far is I'm having a strange time controlling it with MIDI from my Prophet but I think I just have to change some of the settings on both devices. Seriously though I cannot believe it has 8 voices. I know it's digital but for such a small package it's impressive.
I think my new plan is voice rack and manipulation rack. Voice rack will take midi in and influence Marbles, which will generate random CV based on the input and feed Harmonaig - which will generate chords and inversions based on the key set but with the randomness introduced by Marbles. The manipulation skiff will be the looper stuff (Morphagene, W/, etc.) and be for mangling whatever I feed it. As much as I like the looping, I haven't found a good musical application for it for my music yet besides intros/outros. Any time I want to mangle something, I do it in Ableton. Clouds (and whatever Oliver eventually replaces it with) gives me enough with Freeze for now.

Is that huge. Probably. I love it. Sewastopol 2 is life.

I've been having a lot of fun with the Malekko Gate Delay recently. I've been experimenting with using the quantized delay settings under CV control from an envelope multed from an existing part of my patch. If I send a clock or a pattern into the gate delay and feed just a little bit of signal into the CV input, I get some periodic skips and rhythms that are way more "lively" than a simple repeating sequenced pattern. The more I patch the more I realize how much I love sequencing using small building blocks rather than using a do-it-all device.

hurm. i've been thinking about selling mines. but that makes me want to play moreeeee.
i kinda want to get rid of everything not in my main case and go to just the 12u and a 3u skifflet thing.

Try running one of Pam's outputs through it for a percussive pattern then use the technique I described above. You can get lots of subtle animation with heavily attenuated CV, especially if you clock the gate delay faster than the input pattern.
Also... I put in an order for Just Friends and it should ship next week

I really just want my Marbles to come in. It's the one piece that I feel like I've been really missing in my rack. This is where I'll be at (plus an SQ-1, a Field Kit, and a Field Kit FX when that comes in):

My long term plan has gotten a lot less sure. I know I want to expand my sequencing capabilities with a few Tiranas and I definitely want to add a filter (likely just a Ripples; I clearly love Mutables and I really miss my old one). Other than that, I'm definitely planning on getting Stages and the Clouds replacement. Maybe a Morphagene or some kind of a trigger sequencer after that...
