yeah. my worry about them is also trying to kill s(m)naller builders with clonings.

but. yeah. they don't always follow through. so..... hope not?

also, found a Marbles in Bristol, currency conversion and no VAT was HELPFUL. after the crazy shipping fee, it ended up $19 more than buying no tax/no shipping in the US.

SWEET. WAY LESS WAIT.

lol annnnnd i didn't really want to be all WOOOOO WHOLE ROW OF NEW MUTABLES. but. have a pair of Stages and the Marbles to put next to the to a Plaits.

NEW MUTANTS. OKAY.

The thing I'm fighting with right now is the urge to put manufacturers products next to each other in the case.

Mutable stuff looks great next to Mutable stuff. Mannequins stuff looks great next to Mannequins stuff.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Especially with Mutables and Xaoc stuff. They look great together. Luckily it's easy to fit manufacturers panels together when you're basically building your entire rack out of two manufacturers

CHEATER.

lol. the constant dilemma. aesthetics vs functional design. i really like the look of black rows and silver rows, but it is getting probleMATIC to keep to that.

all sounds either Synthstrom Deluge (drums), Mutable Instruments Plaits (bass, main and fuzz melodies) or ALM Busy Circuits Akemie's Taiko.

also, HUH. ordered a black panel for the Triple Sloths that should be shipping in a few days and the Shipped Email said -

Item # Description Qty
NLC-TPLSTH NLC Triple Sloth 1
NLC-TPLSTH-PAN NLC Triple Sloth Panel 1

like... i guess i'd be OKAY if they sent a whole module as well as the panel? i mean. i'd tell them. but. still.

sort of mebbe free module?

also also, the place in Bristol i ordered the Marbles from charged my card twice. which.... means i might have.... two coming? i only want one though. so. yeah.

SO MANY CONFUSING THINGS GOING ON.

Do any of you own a akemie's castle? I am wondering if it’s worth it to get the taiko over the castle.

Going to a local synth meet up tonight, hoping to try out a bit of euro. An acquaintance who is starting to build some modules is hosting.

I’ve already accepted I want to buy some new modules soon (probably either Plaits or Rings and some utility) even though I was trying to go a year without. It’d be so easy to dive in right now if I had the money. Just gonna plan out a new voice in the meantime.

Last bits of my DEATHBOX 2000 lunchbox case arrived at my house but I am at my job. So far I have used the DEATHBOX 2000 to melt a face right down to the skull and teeth. Additionally, by utilizing the Benjolin and Echophon at the same time I was able to manipulate the rift in space-time which I opened in my music room last week (on accident) after a black magick ritual involving the sperm from two dogs and a beheaded chicken. That is also how I invented smear-core.

I owned a Castle.

Honestly one of the best sounding oscillators I had. It can be beautiful and pristine or gritty and a harmonic mess very easily. The real problem was that it is an absolute HP killer.

If it was just a little smaller I think it's a must have for that kind of synthesis, but I couldn't justify the HP - even in my studio-only case.

The chord feature is wonderful if you don't have a chord function already, too. I also appreciated the fact that you could treat A and B separately.

Ultimately, I sold it. I don't regret it now that I have a Digitone but it's a great module.

I was gonna post the video, so here you go Ruiner. As far as I’m concerned the FLXS1 finally feels like is out of Beta now. Hopefully ongoing support will continue to make it a better module.
