My first bass amp in high school was a matching Acoustic Model 220 head + 408(4x15) cab. The head now lives at my friend's studio. But I've been kicking myself for years after selling that cab. Until just the other day I found one locally...

I plan on rewiring it from 2 to 8 ohms for now. But eventually I'll replace all the speakers for more power handling and a normal 4 ohm impedance. The stock speakers sound really cool, but only handle like 300w total.
Between that and my Ampeg 8x10 I feel pretty happy about my bass cab options.

Got my little baby rig in for home recording. Traynor DH15H 15W tube head, Egnater Tweaker 112 cab with a stock Celestion G12H30 (16 ohm). I may swap the speaker out for a V30 a friend offered to hook me up with, gotta test out the stock first. Got both new under warranty for 20% off MAP shipped, after lots of bargain hunting.
