Like being brutally murdered by a gang.

But, seriously. I don't envision any reality where the government “just takes the guns away” that doesn't result in a civil war. :idk:
You can’t blame systemic racism and backwards social policy on an escalation game.

"When I hear what Vladimir Putin was saying just yesterday about the nuclear capabilities he has, the President of the United States is tweeting about Alec Baldwin this morning, I mean, where is your sense of priorities?" Brennan asked.

former Trump aide refuses Mueller subpoena, calls in to CNN, says Mueller "may have very well done something during the election with the Russians." watch interview with Jake Tapper: https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/201 ... t-lead.cnn
watch interview with Gloria Bolger (yes, he called CNN twice): https://youtu.be/ZbRPEXWB7vU
interview with MSNBC: https://www.rawstory.com/2018/03/ex-tru ... interview/

"(in August 2016) Robert Hannigan, then the head of the U.K.’s intelligence service the G.C.H.Q., had recently flown to Washington and briefed the C.I.A.’s director, John Brennan, on a stream of illicit communications between Trump’s team and Moscow that had been intercepted. (The content of these intercepts has not become public.)" https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018 ... mp-dossier

"A new New Yorker profile of Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence officer responsible for the infamous dossier, may reveal just how much Russia was involved in the inner workings of President-elect Donald Trump. Because when the world thought that Trump was playing with (Mitt) Romney in an act of ritual humiliation, the truth may have been that Russia, not Trump, made the final call on who would become secretary of state. Russia, according to Steele, wanted someone who would be more favorable to them on issues like the invasion of Ukraine."

yeah, the Interior stuff is super-fucked.

there's speculation that Nunberg is "intoxicated." i'd say that's a pretty fair possibility. shit is melting down more and more every day. it's downright Nixonian, and you know how that worked out :snax:

yeah.. but the problem with that is back then the opposition party to the prez wasn't quite as utterly useless...

It's not the opposition party that is the problem now, aside from being shut out of power. It's clowns like Nunes and Ryan for tolerating a clown like Nunes.

Do remember (unlike the political press) that congressional Republicans didn't turn on Nixon until John Dean flipped and the goose was cooked. I'll be surprised if current Republicans would clear a similarly low bar of integrity.

and at least some of the Republicans then had some sense of decency. Nixon only resigned after a number of GOP legislators turned against him and he knew he'd be impeached and convicted. the current crop of GOP legislators wouldn't even break with him if he actually tried to go in on the President-for-life thing he floated (allegedly humorously) the other night (see: https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/05/politics ... index.html).

most recent Nunberg interview with Erin Brunnet on CNN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBWYHPNUc7k

this dude is seriously nuts. best YouTube comment: "Is the dude just running around NYC to every camera he can find, pounding shots as he goes?"

for folks who haven't seen the interviews, it's like Pokemon: gotta catch 'em all. by far the most surreal political TV i've ever seen...makes Nixon look like a paragon of stability.

Seems like it was a purposeful stunt. Get drunk, say things he shouldn't, become a poor witness for the special council. He just publicly discredited himself for any future relevant information.
