It's like Orwell and Dostoevsky got together and wrote the end of western civilisation.

What is this "good actor/bad actor" shit? Its the poorest attempt at newspeak I've ever heard.
It's like newspeak for early primary kids in a drama class about behaviour.

Maybe you should check it out. It's about how the groundwork has been set for quite a while for Dump.
He is a symptom of a greater, more pervasive ill.

Nice! That's the way to do it. Support two important systems that keep society on the rails: reading, and public libraries.
Total kudos.

Easy to say there's no evidence of collusion if you're not looking for collusion:

"When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you." - John O. Brennan, CIA director 2013 - 2017

Am I the only one that sees the irony in the fact that liberals/democrats are acting, pretty much, exactly like Republicans were during Obama's tenure?
Yes?

:erm: Okay.

:erm: Okay.
Obama 1) knew how to govern, 2) didn't have a White House in a constant state of chaos, 3) didn't alienate our allies, 4) didn't claim racists were "good people", 5) wasn't a xenophobe, 6) didn't put his family members in staff positions in the White House, 7) actually (naively) hoped he could unify the country instead of trying to divide it, 8) respected our democratic institutions, 9) didn't have anyone on his staff who went to the Russian embassy and asked to use their encrypted communications to communicate with the Kremlin, 10) didn't have anyone on his staff who changed his security clearance over 100 times, 11) didn't have anyone on his staff or from his campaign indicted by a special counsel, 12) never called on Russia to release dirt on his campaign opponents, 13) didn't have ties to the Russian state bank, 14) wasn't investigated by a special counsel for possible criminality, 15) didn't routinely praise dictators for being "great leaders", and this list could go on and on.

The way the Republicans treated Obama was terrible, but it was over matters of policy, and really just political theater.

All this illustrates is that you don't understand irony.

To expand.
Republicans have acted in essentially the exact same way for the last 20+ years. Obama (and citizens united) made it more explicit, see the rise of the Tea Party, but the general behavior did not change. Give Swiftboating a google sometime.

The Democrats, in contrast, have never appealed to the fringes of their base because until Sanders, they never realized they would be a useful source of votes.

Random thought. I hate Jeff Sessions so much. I'm really hoping that he gets the boot, but I'm also hopeful that everyone just continues to ignore him on a state level.

Here in Kansas/Missouri we have that dip shit messing up hemp sales. Now it's illegal to buy CBD supplements (or from what I understand really, hemp in general). A dude who owns a shop 20 minutes or so from my house had to shut down a month ago because of this. The police are actually cracking down on CBD. Fucking insane and obnoxious. It doesn't get you fucking high. I take Hemp protein, drink hemp milk sometimes..etc. Give me a fucking break. Our government has their collective head so far up their asses it's insane.

I feel like it' probably going to take 8 years or more to undo what's happening now in the White House.
