Picked up an Atlas 6x12 today. Loaded with four et65's and two et90's, from WGS. This thing sounds insane. I never expected it to blow me away the way it did after playing a few of my amps throug it today. Here it is under my Laney Super Group.

So awesome. I keep telling myself I don't need a 6x12 (or two), but I can't quell the gas.

i stack a matching 2x12 and 4x12. nothing quite like 6 speakers blasting your whole body. that Atlas is very sexy, if you "picked it up" does that mean it was for sale locally?

Yeah, my buddy Corey had it for sale in Salinas, so I didn't have to drive to far at all. He bought it from Atlas about a year ago but only used if a handful of hours at his shop. It's basically brand new.

Thanks man! This is my forever rig. I can't see myself needing anything bigger than this, and I'm actually thinking about getting a low wattage head to use when I don't need the soul crushing 100w of Traynor.

sometimes i think even just my 2x12 and 100w Hellhawk is too much, sometimes. then again is that Traynor MV or NMV?

NMV. I haven't been able to turn it past 2 until I realized I can turn all the EQ controls really low and open up the volume a little more. Sounds a lot better and the volume is much more manageable.
The tonecvlt speakers in my 2x12 have a surprising amount of low end. Making me consider a bass VI...

gotcha. i've had similar experiences with Sunns and my V-4. i usually pick one frequency to boost the shit out of then keep the rest of the EQ low.
dude. i get a surprising amount of low end from just a pair of V30s as well. with a well EQ'd amp I can see why they're such a go to speaker before delving into boutique speakers.
